Born 1976 in Bialystok, Poland. Since 2006 lives and works in Oslo. She graduated from Faculty of Textile Art and Fashion Design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Lódż in 2005. Painter and designer. Her art explores the sensual relationship between herself and the environments. Texture, circuitry, saturation and pale–the whole world of visual experience, the atmosphere of her favourite environses, streets, places, wildlife is the inspiration of her pictures. Her painting explores how the mind receives sensory richness of the surrounding images. She use her own pictorial language developed to express her individual perceiving of the reality.
Konrad Waraksa
Born 1975 in Polen, lives and work in Oslo. A series of images presented affects among other issues:Painterly compositions integrated with the format of the image. Games elements of painting, figures and background as equal components of the image with a tendency to decay background as such. Borders of the composition, where the structure extends beyond the canvas. Statics and dynamics, compact, finite compositional structure in relation to its potential gravity toward further transformation. Color highlighting as a tool subordinated formal assumptions,
but also a suitable image of a personal nature, the note of freedom.
I paint as if I was looking for a random frame of reality, which, despite its fragmentation reaches completely, solidly structured image, but not depriving him of the potential vibration possible further transformation. Possible to achieve a complete, finite image composition
while maintaining the optimal level of dynamics. completes a reality outside the frame.
My attention gradually shifts from the middle surface of the painting on its periphery. Cosmos is housed in the frame, haos beyond. together form a whole. I'm trying to embrace it, investigate it and express it on canvas.
